Super Junior are gearing up to release the repackaged version of their third album SORRY, SORRY. It’s being called ‘Version C’ since they know how to suck all your money out of you, and already released two different versions (different covers and booklets, same tracks) of the album back in March. This repackaged version though comes with a new photo concept, as well as four new songs.
One of those songs is 너라고 (It’s You), which will be promoted as their next single, now that SORRY, SORRY (the song, not the album) is ending it’s run. It’s written by E-Tribe, the composer behind the super catchy will-never-get-out-of-your-head Gee, by 소녀시대, as well as pop queen 이효리’s U-Go-Girl.
But fear not, because 너라고 (It’s You) isn’t cute lollipopbubblegum pop like Gee. It’s still pop, but the sort of strong dance beat and style that fits Super Junior really well.
The MV for the song was released yesterday - in two versions, an ‘unfinished’ leaked version and the official version shortly after. I’ll show the leaked version because the official version didn’t do it for me. It had some lame shiny effect on the boys during the dance sections, and I don’t need even one sparkling vampire, let alone a whole boyband of them.
I think we should play a game. For the uninitiated, there’s 13 members of Super Junior. Now pause it during one of the dance segments, when you can see them all, like around 10 seconds in. Now count them. XD
With Kibum’s lack of dance and zero lines, I suppose fans at least know this time that Kibum won’t be joining in the promotion activities. Heechul does make a brief appearance in the dance for his line of the song, so I guess he’ll be pulling the same magically appearing on stage at the end thing he was doing for SORRY, SORRY.
So what do you guys think of the song? I actually really like it, I definitely think its one of Super Junior’s better songs, and it might even have crept up to the level of Favourite for me.

I like the song much better when I’m not watching the video because it’s too distracting. Kibum used to be hot, what happened? Also Heechul doesn’t even dance in the dance part, he just stands there and sings. Maybe it’ll be different when they perform it? I second that the leaked version is better though.

This song is good. Nice surprise. I didn’t think they could comeback with a decent enough song that might top Sorry Sorry.

Everyone kind of expected that Kibum wouldn’t be around much from now on. And there’s no way he’d loose his precious time practicing the choreography. He appears in the clip…acting. Guess that’s what he does best.
About Heechul, I kind of understand him. He was always a bad dancer, from the beginning, but he used to try. Ever since the accident, when he had a problem with his legs, I guess it became more difficult for him to dance.
Of course, he’s always dancing girlband’s songs, but if you pay attention, he never really uses his legs on his movements, and that’s why I think it is difficult for him to do so at Super Junior.
Considering he also doesn’t really sing (and his voice sure doesn’t help) I guess he’s there just to entertain us and show us his beautiful face.
At least, unlike other suju members, he shows his face….

But Heechul has danced to Bi’s songs, and he seems to be better at dancing these days, but he does seem to have some problems with his legs.

I think it is nice… the video is okay… I prefer Sorry Sorry to this song.

Mere: LOL I think it’s just the hair. Kibum looks best when he’s looking scruffy, or badass. With the hair like that, he’s got a babyface XD
Tiffany: I agree! Sorry, Sorry was definitely a great song, I wasn’t sure what they were going to do for a follow up. This has been a VERY pleasant surprise. I’m hoping the other three new songs on the repackage are just as much of a pleasant surprise - if so, then this is going to be Don’t Don Repackage all over again, where I was left wondering why on earth the new songs weren’t put on the original release XD
Pan: Kibum and Heechul are two of my favourite Super Junior members, so I don’t criticise them lightly. Heechul has his reasons for sure, and if his legs are truly giving him difficulties then I hope it isn’t causing him troubles in daily life as well. As for Kibum … he used to always have at least a rap line, or be in the little ‘cool dance group’ with Donghae, Eunhyuk, Shindong and Hangeng, so I don’t really know why things have changed. Does acting really take up all of his time? He hasn’t even been doing much lately, there was a CF and that was about it? I wish he/SM would just make a decision - in Super Junior, or out of Super Junior? I think he’s just showing his face in MVs and photoshoots to keep the fans from rising up again like they did with only13 >>;
Chriss: Heechul dancing to Bi’s songs has got to be one of the most hilarious things ever. I love it XD He’s such a spazz.
Syn: I still like Sorry, Sorry a lot too! Stuff like this suits their image well.

I really love this song…not just because I have become a die-hard SUJU fan in the past year, but there’s something about the contrast of the gentleness of the verses then the power of the chorus that is really addicting to me. Eh, that’s the music teacher coming out in me!
There are actually 3 versions of this video out there now: the two you mentioned PLUS a “drama” version. The drama version was taken all in 1 shot, 1 take and is really awkward in some parts…like the camera was too early, or the boys moved too fast off camera and they were just waiting for the next person to come in… If you youtube it and watch, you will understand what I mean.

before, i was just downloading random songs from them.. and i have like 14 songs of them in my mp3 ….yeah they impressed me but i stil didn’t know their name.I just thought they were great..
and then one day i was bored.
I searched random new songs in the internet and then when i found suju 3rd album.. i was like
” okay… they released a new album.”
so i chose random songs..
It’s You was one of them and “Why I like you”
(ihave already downloaded sorry sorry so I knew what was it)
and yeah i got addicted to it’s you suddenly like magic lol..
and then i stalked suju to death and I’m in love with Eunhyuk and Sungmin
(lol my babies)

Does anyone know where to download Super Junior CDs at? I’m dying to listen to the whole album with the song “Sorry, Sorry” but my searching has failed! I can’t find it anywhere… BUT I LOVE SUPER JUNIOR! >_
