Not Even Apple Imagined a Developer Could Do THIS with an Application!
Tuesday, January 6th, 2009Introducing the ultimate language learning application…
Are ready to master a language on your iPhone or iTouch in just minutes a day? Are you a avid KoreanClass101.com listener?
Well, we’ve answered both questions with a single iPhone application…
KoreanClass101 - Beginner I
KoreanClass101 - Newbie I
You can now experience the evolution of language learning! KoreanClass101 - Beginner I and KoreanClass101 - Newbie I are like having a state of the art language lab in your pocket. Actually, that statement is not entirely honest, this application is better than a language lab!
In the language lab, you don’t get two experts teachers to personally walk you through the pitfalls and pleasantries of mastering Korean. With KoreanClass101 - Beginner I and KoreanClass101 - Newbie I, you do.
You also get the entire Learning Center compacted into your pocket, including the following:
Features 10 complete language lessons
Each lesson includes:
Lesson Description - detailing the lesson background and grammatical focus
Main Audio Track (approx. 5-7 minutes) - listen to the lesson dialog and master the vocabulary and grammar point as your two expert teachers guide you through the lesson
Line-by-Line Audio - master listening comprehension and understanding of the dialog
Review Track (approx. 2 minutes) - master lesson specific vocabulary and phrases
Vocabulary List - master the vocabulary and pronunciation with the voice recording tool
Vocabulary Flashcards - quiz yourself on vocabulary and phrases from the lesson
Expansion Sentences with Audio - reinforce sentence structure and introduce new words
Grammar Point - detailed explanation of the focal point of the lesson written by expert teachers
Cultural Insight - increase your talking points and knowledge when speaking with Korean speakers
Fast, fun, easy, engaging, and educational.
Bottom line: it works, and people use it again and again.
Check out KoreanClass101 - Beginner I or KoreanClass101 - Newbie I instantly!

Fantastic tool. I just downloaded the Beginner app and intend to use it for review purposes. It is so much easier than creating all kinds of playlists. I especially like the “expansion” feature with the sentences. The lessons are those of beginner series II on the website: does this mean that more lessons will be added to the app by means of updates? Or will you create a new Beginner II application?

Hi Bart,
Thanks for stopping by and downloading the application. We will be creating a new Beginner application, as having 25 lessons in one application can be too big for people to want to download. So we will have three sets in total. 1-10, 11-20, and 21-25.
And of course moving forward, we are looking to add all of our lessons in this format.
And Bart, please e-mail us at contactus@koreanclass101.com
We’d like to get in contact with you!
For more information on upcoming apps, you can always find more information at our company blog.

Keith..
Have you (or anyone else for that matter) played with any of the Korean/English iPhone dictionaries? I’m trying to decide which one to buy… but of course you can’t test things out first!

Austin, are you referring our company applications? I’ve used those, but I haven’t been able to test out any other dictionaries.

No, I’m thinking about one of the real dictionaries… I didn’t think you guys had a dictionary, do you? I mean more than just a word bank, or study list.
